Our 35+ Lawns, Gardens, and Niches
Parks have long been a part of every community. The outdoor lawns and/or wooded areas are ideal spots for family and community gatherings and more. Each park has its own story to tell. This is especially true for memorial parks like ours that have become special locations that reflect historical roots and cultural interests.
Our memorial parks – Santa Rosa Memorial Park and Shiloh Annex in Windsor – are popular spots for casual walkers and those who enjoy strolling through the ground with a leashed (and well-behaved) dog.
The elaborate shade trees combine nicely with situated fountains and well-manicured memorials. Combined they make for an overall quiet place to just sit and rest. reflect or pray, or remember a loved one.
Visitors can also pay their respects to our POW/MIA military service people as well. They can sit on our Gold Star Family Bench dedicated to the families of military personnel who have lost their lives in the line of duty. They can also visit the Veteran’s Lawn where many local servicemen and women are now at rest.
On occasion we also host special events, such as the historical The Global War on Terrorism Wall of Remembrance. Other activities include open house tours and our annual Avenue of the Flags Memorial Day Commemoration. Additional special events also include the Mystery Writers in the Mausoleum that takes place each fall in our 105+ year-old Alaskan alabaster mausoleum.
We provide our community with a combined total of 65 acres that offer more than 35 outdoor and indoor options, such as dedicated memorial lawns, indoor niches, crypts, mausoleums, scattering lawns, and more.
For 132 years, we have been helping North Bay families by taking care of their loved ones at rest with us.
